Caring for Indoor Bonsai Seeds
You may have some indoor bonsai seeds and want to plant them or you might know how to plant them but you may not
know how to take care of your indoor bonsai seeds in the right way so that they will develop into a strong and
healthy bonsai plant and later on a bonsai tree. There are some tips that are crucial for you to follow if you
would like to properly care for your indoor bonsai seeds.
Watering
Just like with other plant types, among the most crucial things you should be aware of is watering. You will
want to regularly water your indoor bonsai seeds. If you neglect to water the soil of your bonsai tree, then the
tree will be malnourished and it will wither and it may even die.
One of the greatest problems new gardeners have is that the bonsai tree is so small and fragile when compared to
others. You do not want to give it a chance to become malnourished and even worse die. This is why it is important
that you are very attentive to the plant. You will want to take care and make sure you water it regularly. Check
the soil to see if the bonsai feels dry. If so, then you should water your bonsai immediately. If the soil is damp,
then you can wait a day or two before watering.
Do not try to put your bonsai on a watering schedule. Really, you should not put any plant on a watering
schedule. All plants should be watered using this method of feeling the soil to determine if it needs to be watered
or left alone.
Light
This is a very critical factor in the growth of indoor bonsai seeds. You should ensure that both the roots and
leaves receive adequate light so they can thrive and be healthy. Putting the bonsai tree in a window inside your
house will ensure it receives enough sunlight. It is best if the window faces sunrise, as the light from a setting
sun may be too warm for a bonsai plant and could damage the foliage, even when the window is closed.
Temperature
Ensuring your house is the appropriate temperature for a bonsai tree is very important if you want your bonsai
to develop healthily. You should keep temperatures warm and not too hot. If it is too hot then your plant may
become overly dry.
